Shannon Titus Lovgren is a philanthropy advisor and strategic partnerships leader with more than 20 years of experience in development, sustainability, partnership-building, and advancing solutions to complex global challenges.
Her work has spanned across Africa, Europe, and the United States. Shannon has worked with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, international charitable organizations, and local governments to help align capital, strategy, and partnerships around meaningful impact.
Her experience includes Acumen, a nonprofit venture capital fund dedicated to combating poverty by investing in entrepreneurs where few take the risk; the International Center for Local Democracy, where she led international training programs for local politicians on sustainability and democratic governance; and managing a $47 million USAID humanitarian aid program supporting large-scale development efforts. She has also worked with The Case For Her, funding solutions to historically stigmatized women’s health issues, as well as with Columbia College and the Los Angeles Fire Department, where her work evolved from frontline public service to environmental and community-focused advocacy.
Shannon founded The Shannon Fund to help bridge the gap between philanthropic intention and action—guiding capital toward early-stage companies that need catalytic capital to build the solutions we need to create a sustainable future.
